We would like to inform our clients of the false invoices and hoax letters in circulation.
Some of our clients have received a number of false invoices and hoax letters concerning their industrial property rights (patents, designs, utility models, trademarks) in the past few months. In the typical case, these invoices and letters refer to a private register in which the client's industrial right should be added. They might also suggest some other service that the client has not ordered. These false invoices and hoax letters are written in English and may appear very official; they may even contain a sign or a symbol of a false register or community. Some of the false invoices contain in fine print the statement: "This is not a bill".
Important: All clients of Papula-Nevinpat are invoiced for their assignments directly by our company.
If you feel doubtful about the authenticity of an invoice and have received that particular invoice relating to industrial property rights from other source than your agent, please send us a copy of that invoice. We will then go over the matter.
