Artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence can be defined as intelligence possesed by an artificial being. Artificial intelligence is often perceived as a computer programme which has been designed to perform reasoning resembling that of a human. However, inventions which fall into the category of artificial intelligence can cover a much wider range of applications, like personal appliances and robotics. The common nominator in the invention which represent artificial intelligence is automation.
