EPO

Patents can be granted in Europe either nationally or by the European Patent Office (EPO), which grants European patents.

OHIM

The corresponding organisation for trademarks and designs is the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM). This centralized European-wide institute provides a unitary application and grating process for trademarks and designs.
