Patent Attorney Linda Norrgård to join Papula-Nevinpat’s Chemistry and Process Technology team as of 1 April 2019

Patent Attorney Linda Norrgård, M. Sc. (Tech.), strengthens Papula-Nevinpat’s team of IP experts as of 1 April 2019. Linda has worked with patents since 2008, spending most of her career in various Finnish patent firms.

Linda has solid expertise in all stages of patent prosecution. She has also extensive experience in dealing with patent disputes, such as oppositions and appeals, both in Finland (the Market Court) and before the European Patent Office. She has prosecuted a wide range of inventions in the chemical field, with a special focus on polymer technology, organic chemistry (medicinal chemistry), and process and food technology.

In the past few years, Linda has also worked in close collaboration with startups, gaining a good understanding of how to help new businesses to deal with their IP.

Ukraine ends special wartime IP rules – prepare for return to standard deadlines

Please be informed that on 16 April 2025, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted a new law that cancels the special wartime IP rules enacted in 2022. These rules temporarily suspended various deadlines and extended IP rights during the martial law period. The new law will enter into force 30 days after its official publication, following signature by the President of Ukraine.
