Riikka Palmos appointed to the Enforcement Committee at INTA

Mrs Riikka Palmos, European Trademark Attorney and Administrative Director at Papula-Nevinpat, has been appointed to the Enforcement Committee for the 2014 – 2015 Committee Term at the International Trademark Association (INTA). The appointment is effective as of January 1, 2014, for a two-year term.

INTA is a global association of trademark owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property in order to protect consumers and to promote fair and effective commerce.

Changes to Kazakhstan’s IP legislation

Matti has wide expertise as a patent attorney, specializing in various technical fields, such as mechanics, engineering materials, electronics, medical engineering, as well as power plant, automation and antenna technology.

New regulations for including IP rights in the Eurasian Customs Union

As from now on it should be possible to make only one customs application instead of 5. This brings financial benefits to intellectual property owners.
